Prime Video will bring NBA action to Canadian basketball fans as part of a landmark 11-year global media rights agreement with the National Basketball Association (NBA), beginning in Canada with the 2026-27 season.
The agreement, which starts on October 24 for the 2025-26 season globally but begins in Canada next season, will deliver exclusive NBA games to Prime members across the country. This addition further strengthens Prime Video's sports lineup in Canada, which already includes NHL, PWHL, WNBA, and NWSL action.

The Toronto Raptors' 2019 NBA Championship victory sparked record viewership across the country, demonstrating Canada's passionate basketball fanbase.
Prime Video's NBA coverage will include regular season games, the Emirates NBA Cup, the SoFi NBA Play-In Tournament, and select playoff games and Conference Finals. Prime Video will present live pregame, halftime, bridge programming, and postgame shows as part of its coverage.
Additionally, Prime Video in Canada will offer NBA League Pass, the NBA's subscription service for streaming live and on-demand games in 2026.
