There's something universally captivating about comedy that captures a specific moment in time while remaining timelessly funny. For nearly a decade, SCTV (Second City Television) did exactly that, offering sharp satire and a distinctly Canadian point of view that launched the careers of some of the country's most beloved comedy icons.

Mark your calendars for March 3, when all six seasons and 135 episodes of SCTV will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video in Canada. For the first time ever, Prime members can watch the complete catalog of one of Canada's most influential and groundbreaking sketch comedy series.

What is SCTV?
Created by Toronto's renowned comedy institution The Second City, SCTV originally aired from 1976 to 1984 and became a cultural phenomenon. The series' innovative format, a fictional television station broadcasting from the small town of Melonville, provided the framework for an endless variety of sketches, parodies, and memorable characters that earned the show multiple awards and a permanent place in television history.
