DashPass is now free for all active Amazon Prime members; customers can now order restaurant meals via DoorDash directly from Amazon.ca and the Amazon Shopping App

Amazon Canada and DoorDash Canada today announced a partnership to make restaurant delivery to customers' doors more convenient and affordable. Starting today, Amazon customers in hundreds of cities across Canada can order from national and local restaurants with DoorDash embedded directly on Amazon.ca and in the Amazon Shopping app. Additionally, what started as a one-year DashPass offer in 2023 is now a continued Prime member offer, giving Canadian members free access to DashPass from DoorDash, as long as they remain Prime members. DashPass benefits include unlimited $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees on eligible orders, 5% back in DoorDash credit on eligible pickup orders, and exclusive access to subscriber-only deals.

A seamless ordering experience

All customers in cities where DoorDash operates can now access a wide selection of restaurants via DoorDash conveniently on Amazon.ca and in the Amazon Shopping app, enabling them to place DoorDash orders without navigating to a new interface. The ordering experience mirrors the seamless experience customers are familiar with on DoorDash.com or DoorDash's app.

Prime members can visit amazon.ca/doordash to activate or reactivate the continued free DashPass offer with DoorDash. Those currently within the one-year period of the previous offer will automatically transition to a continued free DashPass subscription. By redeeming the DashPass offer, Prime members save $120 annually on the cost of the subscription alone for as long as they remain Prime members, plus get access to additional savings when they order.
