For 100 years, the Royal Canadian Legion has stood with Canada's veterans, strengthened communities, and honoured the memory of those who served. Established in 1926, the Legion is Canada's largest veteran support and community service organization, with over 300,000 members and a national reach across Canada as well as branches in the U.S. and Europe. The poppy remains its most iconic symbol, worn by millions of Canadians each November, with proceeds funding veteran support services, community programs, and remembrance education.

This year, Amazon Canada is proud to support the Legion's centenary Poppy Campaign for a third consecutive year. Customers can visit amazon.ca/legion to make donations of $5, $10, or $20 and receive a commemorative Remembrance lapel Poppy delivered to their door. One hundred per cent of the funds raised go directly to the Legion's Poppy Trust Fund, which provides support to veterans and their families.

The collaboration between Amazon and the Legion has grown steadily since launching in 2024. What began as an effort to make Poppies more accessible has expanded into one of the Legion's most valued collaborations. The storefront operates with zero selling fees, and products are available to customers in every province and territory, reaching Canadians in remote and northern communities where Legion branches may not be present.

That growth was recognized in August, when Amazon was invited to the Legion's 50th Dominion Convention in Winnipeg, attended by approximately 1,200 members from across Canada. Amazon was presented an award during the Keynote Speaker Series for its continued support of the Legion and its mission.

"One hundred years of service to Canada's veterans is a remarkable milestone. When we started this collaboration in 2024, the goal was simple: make it easier for Canadians to support the Legion and the work they do. Three years in, we're reaching people in communities across the country who may not have had that opportunity before, and we're honoured to continue supporting this campaign and the meaning it carries," said Eva Lorenz, Vice President and Country Manager, Amazon Canada.

For the centenary year, the Legion's Amazon storefront features refreshed branding and an expanded catalogue of Remembrance products, including Poppy centre pins, 24K gold-plated Poppy pins, and We Remember pins. Customers can also look for the storefront through a dedicated homepage placement on Amazon.ca beginning October 24.

Remembrance lapel Poppies and other official Remembrance items will be available in the Amazon.ca store through Wednesday, November 11. Other Remembrance items will continue to be accessible through the Royal Canadian Legion's Poppy Store, and Poppies will still be distributed through thousands of traditional Poppy donation boxes and "Pay Tribute" tap-enabled boxes across Canada.
